Abstract
Clinical diagnosis of pulmonary thromboembolism is very difficult because clinical manifestations are nonspecific. Considering that this disease is life-threatening, prompt diagnosis and early treatment is critical in early course of the disease
process. Emergency echocardiography can provide diagnostic hints for pulmonary thromboembolism.
This report describes a woman who complained unexplained dyspnea and hypoxia, and was diagnosed with thromboembolism of main pulmonary artery detected by emergency echocardiography.
